This week the Archives and Records Management level 7 Apprentices visited the Marks and Spencer Archive in Leeds.

Here we are enjoying the exhibition. Many thanks to our colleagues at the M&S Archive for hosting us 😊

The M&S Archive has some great free events over the summer, and their website also has a fantastic virtual tour and loads of brilliant content including free education, family and reminiscence resources.

I co-ordinated the Accessible Learning Toolkit (free) for the Archives in Learning & Education Group of ARA.The toolkit features lots of case studies - including the work of the M&S Archive with young people with SEND.

The toolkit support the wider sector to become more 'SEND-friendly'. The toolkit aims to equip you with information, ideas, tools and language to take practical and proportionate steps to increase accessibility and improve the inclusion of children and young people with SEND in archives.

Watch the introduction to the toolkit (recorded webinar).
